Founder & Executive Director, Cadets Rising
Brian Prioleau is the Founder and Executive Director of Cadets Rising, a youth enrichment organization dedicated to the holistic development of K–12 students in underserved communities. Driven by a lifelong commitment to education, athletics, and community service, Brian created Cadets Rising to fill a critical gap — providing young people with the structure, mentorship, and opportunity they need to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
With a background spanning classroom instruction, athletic coaching, nonprofit leadership, and grant compliance, Brian brings a multidisciplinary perspective to youth programming. He understands that lasting change requires more than academic support — it requires safety, belonging, and joy. That belief is woven into every program Cadets Rising offers, from Cadet Hoops Basketball to the Restorative Justice Ambassadors Program.
Brian developed the SCRR framework — Self, Collective, Root, Responsibility — from years of working directly with youth, families, and school communities. This framework serves as the philosophical foundation of Cadets Rising, guiding every interaction, program design, and partnership the organization pursues. His vision is simple: every child deserves a champion, and every school community deserves the support to create one.
